We base general knowledge off of J.J. Keller Entry Level Driver Training book to comply with FMCSA regulations. The remainder of the training will be completed out of the Texas Commercial Motor Vehicle Handbook to understand a base of state law.
To obtain a CLP you will first need to pass 4 exams:
- Special Rules and Regulations
- General knowledge
- Combination Vehicles
- Airbrakes
